Terms and Conditions

  • Any support and advice provided by Independent Health Visitors of London Ltd (IHVOL) in no way replaces a diagnosis or recommendation from a General Practitioner or Medical Practitioner.
  • If you, your baby or child are unwell, NHS advice must be sought immediately.
  • IHVOL operates home visits between 17:00 - 21:00 Tuesday - Friday and 10:00 - 15:00 Saturday - Sunday Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
  • Any telephone calls made between 21:00 - 08:00 will be charged at double the standard rate.
  • A service proposal will be supplied for each booking, detailing services, fees, conditions and any specific requests.
  • Home visits includes email or text for 24 hours after your home visit.
  • Payment is due on receipt of an invoice.
  • Future consultations will be withheld if invoices are unpaid & additional fees will be added.
  • Cancelled appointments will incur an administrative fee of £25 and £75 for appointments cancelled within 48 hours of your consultation date.
  • Missed appointments will be charged at the full agreed rate.
  • Weekly email and text support must be paid for in advance via Bankers' Automated Clearing Services (BACS).
  • Travel expenses & parking fees within London are included. 
  • You are free to access your NHS health visiting service at any time. At IHVOL we work collaboratively with health professionals in the NHS and private healthcare.
  • Referrals and reports to other health professionals are available on request and will be charged accordingly.
  • All staff have full indemnity insurance, Disclosure & Barrings Service (DBS) clearances & are registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC).
